No MCL projects in Fall 2020
Due to the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to pause MCL operations for Fall 2020. We are continuing to evaluate the possibilities for Spring 2021 programming and will announce a decision as soon as possible.
Spring 2020 Open House
Please join us on Wednesday January 15, 3:00-5:00 pm in SEO 709 for the Spring 2020 MCL Open House. This public event will include demonstrations of the lab’s VR and 3D printing equipment, and MCL staff and faculty supervisors of the spring projects will be present to answer questions about upcoming undergraduate research opportunities. Everyone is welcome to attend and refreshments will be served.

The Spring Research Expo will be Wednesday, December 4 from 3-5pm in SEO 709.
The end-of-semester research expo is the MCL’s main public event, where student research teams present posters and demonstrations of their work from the preceding semester.
Supervisors of upcoming MCL projects will also be on hand to answer questions. Attending the expo is a great way for UIC students to find out about undergraduate mathematical research opportunities for next year.
